Kilimanjaro Blind Trust Africa (KBTA) is a charitable Trust based in Nairobi, Kenya, with a mission to unlock literacy and life skills for children and young adults with visual impairments and deaf-blindness. They provide access to digital Braille literacy and life skills to over 3000 learners across 200 schools in Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda. KBTA believes that true social and economic inclusion can only be achieved through quality education for individuals with visual impairments.

By improving literacy among these learners, they aim to increase job placement rates, integration, and independent living.
