## Description

The Ministry of Agriculture is a government organization in Tanzania that is responsible for the development and implementation of agricultural policies. Their main focus is on promoting modern and productive farming practices to enhance the welfare of citizens, ensure food security, and improve nutrition. 

The ministry carries out various tasks, which include formulating and implementing policies related to agriculture, food security, irrigation, and cooperatives. Additionally, they promote the development of agricultural infrastructure, coordinate marketing activities, and enhance the value of agricultural products. 

The vision of the Ministry of Agriculture is to guide the provision of modern and competitive agricultural policies and services by 2025, for the benefit of the population, food security, and nutrition. Their mission is to deliver quality agricultural services, create an enabling environment for stakeholders, foster policy dialogue, empower local government authorities, and encourage private sector participation in sustainable agriculture. Through strategic goals and 10 key objectives, the ministry aims to increase agricultural productivity, facilitate market access, improve value addition, strengthen cooperatives, enhance data collection and analysis, and promote overall coordination and development in the agricultural sector.
