## Description

Killin Music Fest is a community-led music festival based in Killin, in the Scottish Highlands. Running since 2016, it brings local performers together with national and international artists for a family-friendly celebration rooted in the village’s community spirit. Its main events take place at McLaren Hall, with additional activities across Killin.

The festival offers live music, concerts, workshops, traditional music sessions and opportunities for the community to perform. Its programme has featured artists including Skerryvore, Dougie MacLean, Talisk and Elephant Sessions. Alongside ticketed evening performances, the festival’s free community day welcomes visitors to enjoy local music, Gaelic singing, poetry, stories, a pipe band parade and other village activities.

Killin Music Fest also presents Next Gen, a weekend of traditional music tuition for young people from Killin and the surrounding glens, culminating in a concert. Visitors can buy general admission standing or reserved balcony tickets, subject to availability, and shop for limited-edition festival hoodies and T-shirts. The event is family-friendly, with under-18 tickets available when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
