## Description

Kilshaw's Auctioneers is a well-established brand with a rich history that dates back to 1790 in Kendal, England. The brand was founded by William Kilshaw during the reign of George III, and it initially focused on pairing buyers with sellers of various items such as home furnishings, real estate, farm implements, and cattle. Since 1908, the Kilshaw family has been selling in Canada, starting in Winnipeg and eventually moving to Victoria. The brand has always been known for its unique auction policy, which involves openly displaying items at the moment of sale. Under the ownership of Alison Ross, Kilshaw's Auctioneers continues to uphold the family's long-standing tradition of honesty and integrity while introducing fresh ideas and enthusiasm. The business now operates from a beautifully restored heritage property in Victoria's old town, offering live online bidding during specialty sales and displaying products on big screens during auctions. Kilshaw's Auctioneers has received recognition for its excellence, winning awards such as the Times Colonist Reader's Choice Best Auction and the NEDC Business of the Year. With generations of personal attention, honesty, and knowledge, Kilshaw's Auctioneers has consistently delighted countless patrons with their purchases and sales.
