## Description

Kindernotfallkurse Wittgenstein is a first-aid training service led by Viktoria Worm in the Wittgenstein area. Its courses help adults and children build the knowledge and confidence to respond when someone needs help. For parents, grandparents, babysitters and other interested adults, the children’s emergency courses cover how to recognize serious situations and respond safely. Sessions are practical and approachable, using an established emergency ABC approach, real-life examples and time for questions. Topics reflect situations that can affect children, such as burns, falls, breathing difficulties and febrile seizures.

The service also offers age-appropriate first-aid courses for children, designed for daycare centers, kindergartens and primary schools. Through playful, sensitive activities, children learn to stay calm, seek help and care for minor wounds, while developing confidence and a willingness to help.

Viktoria brings professional experience as a pediatric nurse, having worked at the DRK Children’s Hospital in Siegen since 2012, and completed further training as a children’s emergency instructor in 2024. Her teaching combines practical knowledge with an empathetic approach.
