## Description

KindyROO is an early childhood development program for babies, children and their parents, offering parent-and-child classes based on an Australian methodology. Created in Australia in 1982 by Margaret Sasse, a specialist in early childhood development, the program is now present in more than 15 countries. KindyROO classes serve children from six weeks old to over six years, with nine class levels tailored to different stages of development.

Through weekly movement, play and sensory experiences, the program aims to support children’s physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional development, as well as concentration, memory and readiness for school. Its approach draws on expertise in child development, cognitive neuroscience, psychology and education, with activities designed to encourage learning and build the parent-child relationship. KindyROO also provides parents with personal guidance and support during the early years. The organization says its programs can help address neuromotor immaturity in babies, children and adolescents through progressive movement and sensory stimulation. The overall focus is on helping children grow into confident, curious learners.
