## Description

Kingmakers is a New Zealand racehorse syndicator offering owners and investors new ways to participate in thoroughbred racing across Australasia. Its customer-first approach begins by learning about each person’s interests and racing ambitions, then matching them with like-minded participants in racing or pinhook syndicates. Syndicates are designed to keep groups small, with share options including 2.5%, 5% and 10%, alongside larger Principal Owner shares. The company recognises the lead shareholder as a “Kingmaker,” with specific benefits, respect and privileges.

Kingmakers offers shares in selected horses at different stages, including yearlings and young racehorses, and provides a range of ownership services. These include horse selection and pedigree analysis, active racehorse management, transparent syndicate financials, and raceday concierge and hospitality to bring owners closer to the action. The business draws on founder Leighton Howl’s experience selecting and purchasing horses, including at Karaka sales. Kingmakers aims to make ownership more personal, measured and enjoyable, while aligning owners around shared goals and giving them a more involved experience of racing.
