## Description

The Kingsbury Open is a Colorado golf tournament dedicated to honoring people lost to pancreatic cancer and supporting those affected by the disease. Founded in 2015 in memory of Thomas P. Kingsbury, the event brings friends, colleagues, and loved ones together to enjoy golf while raising funds and awareness. Tom was a passionate golfer who continued playing during his cancer treatment, and his love of the game remains central to the tournament’s spirit.

Hosted at the Golf Club at Bear Dance in Larkspur, Colorado, the Kingsbury Open partners with Wings of Hope for Pancreatic Cancer Research, a local nonprofit that raises awareness and funds research toward more effective treatments and better outcomes. The tournament also identifies the University of Colorado Cancer Centers among its beneficiaries. Since its start, the event has donated more than $500,000 to Wings of Hope.

Alongside the annual tournament, the Kingsbury Open offers opportunities to register, volunteer, sponsor, and donate.
