## Description

The King’s Highway is a historical documentary and preservation initiative focused on Northeast Philadelphia’s role in the founding of the United States. Produced by The King’s Highway Trust Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Bucks County and Philadelphia, the project brings attention to the historic route now known as Frankford Avenue. The film explores the road’s significance as America’s first highway and its connection to George Washington and General Rochambeau’s march toward victory at Yorktown. Through historian interviews, archival footage, and cinematic sequences, it shares stories of the region’s landmarks and the people who helped shape the nation. The organization also encourages visitors to explore the area with a trail map and supports public education and historic preservation. Its online shop offers film editions on USB and DVD, a four-disc box set, a reproduction of a 1687 map as a poster, and a shirt-and-DVD bundle. The foundation shares preservation updates and event information through its website and Facebook page.
