Kinship Mentoring is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming communities by pairing caring adult mentors with local youth. Established in 1954, Kinship originated as a Christian ministry at Luther Seminary in the Twin Cities, focusing on providing positive influences to young boys in need. Today, with 19 affiliates across Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin, Kinship Mentoring continues to make a difference in the lives of children.

Their vision is to empower youth to reach their full potential and become valuable contributors to society through mentorship programs. Led by a dedicated Board of Directors and Program Coordinator Sara McChesney, Kinship Mentoring strives to create healthy and stable relationships within communities.
