## Description

De Kippenrenners, also known as Roparun Team 91, is a volunteer team that combines endurance sport with fundraising for Stichting Roparun. The team plans to take on the Roparun for the 16th time in 2027, with the event scheduled to start on Saturday, May 15, and finish on Monday, May 17. Its goals are to raise as much money as possible for the foundation and to deliver a strong team performance in the relay.

The team raises funds through unpaid community activities, including wrapping customers’ groceries at local supermarkets around Christmas and Easter and organising events such as an après-ski party. Supporters can also contribute directly through donations on the team’s website. During the run, participants typically cover approximately 540 kilometres from France to Rotterdam. De Kippenrenners chooses the French route, which passes through its home area of Numansdorp, including a passage at Middelsluis. Through its sporting challenge and local fundraising efforts, the team invites supporters to help make a difference, with every contribution welcome.
