## Description

KittehCoin 2.0 is an independent, community-driven cryptocurrency project built on current Litecoin Core. Its native coin, MEOWS, runs on its own Scrypt-based chain; the project emphasizes that it is a fresh-genesis network, not a wrapped token or a continuation of old MEOW balances. KittehCoin 2.0 describes its launch as fair, with no premine, and makes its open-source Core and public genesis available for verification.

The project provides tools and services for using, mining, and exploring the network. Users can access Core wallets and a browser-based web wallet to receive and send MEOWS, along with a faucet for claiming a small starter amount and paper-wallet tools for offline K-address use. Miners can find an official pool, setup guidance, ports, and miner information. A block explorer, live network-status page, specifications, downloads with SHA256 sums, and FAQs help users inspect and understand the chain. Community members can join official channels, discuss the project, propose and vote on ideas, and follow its roadmap and changelog.
