## Description

Kiwanis Hope Foundation is a New York-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to meet the educational needs of children ages 6 to 18, particularly those from low-income families. Its mission is to help young people pursue their goals and succeed academically by bringing community members and supporters together around education and opportunity.

The foundation’s initiatives include providing school supplies to families who may struggle to afford them, tutoring and mentorship, and scholarships that support academic achievement and leadership. Through EducAid, it helps fund educational paths based on students’ interests. The organization also offers a free self-defense class designed to help community members resist anti-Asian hate and build a safer, more inclusive environment. Its work emphasizes education, mutual support, and collective action as ways to strengthen the community and create a brighter future for children.

The foundation shares its history and milestones through the Kiwanis Journal’s annual covers, celebrating the dedication of members, the generosity of supporters, and the people reached through its programs.
