## Description

Kampfkunstakademie Alexander is a martial arts and self-defense academy in Ludwigshafen, led by instructor Gabriele Degortes. It offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and No-Gi Grappling in a professional, friendly and respectful environment, welcoming children from age seven and adults at all experience levels. Classes are available for beginners and advanced students, with separate sessions for children and adults throughout the week.

Training develops practical skills across standing and ground-based combat. BJJ focuses on technique, control, leverage, throws and counters, while No-Gi Grappling builds skill in takedowns, grip work and ground control without a traditional gi. The academy also incorporates practical self-defense strategies and selected techniques used in MMA, although it does not teach MMA as a program. A special 45-minute session on the last Friday of each month covers striking, kicking, blocking and self-defense fundamentals.

The academy emphasizes fitness, coordination, mobility, discipline and confidence alongside technical development. Prospective students can arrange a trial session by contacting the instructor through WhatsApp or Instagram.
