The club develops the sport through coaching, public skating courses, training camps and competition events. Its courses welcome people who want to learn to skate or improve their technique, including children and prospective hockey players or figure skaters. Sessions are led by licensed coaches at the city’s ice rink. Iskra also organizes summer figure-skating camps for young athletes from across Slovakia. Camps combine several daily on-ice training sessions with off-ice preparation and ballet lessons. A major event in the club’s calendar is Grand Prix SNP, a junior skating competition that has been held since 1963; its 61st edition is scheduled for December 2026 at Tipsport Arena in Banská Bystrica. The club’s history includes Slovak champion and Olympian Zuzana Paurová-Babiaková, who serves as its head coach and chair. Through its sporting activities and events, Iskra supports skaters at different levels and helps sustain figure skating in the region. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Winter Sports _(under Sports)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/kkiskrabb) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/kkiskrabb) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id4EqkdZp2/w/361/h/361/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793784654750) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Blue | #0000ee | accent | | Mine Shaft | #212121 | dark | | Blue | #0000ee | light | ## Fonts - Dancing Script — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
