## Description

Krakowski Klub Szermierzy (KKS) is a fencing club in Krakow, Poland, founded on March 4, 1910. With more than a century of history, it combines sporting tradition with modern training methods and serves nearly 100 members across age groups and ability levels, from recreational beginners to competitive athletes. The club welcomes children, young people, and adults, offering training tailored to participants’ age, experience, and goals. Sessions balance specialist fencing practice with general fitness work, including exercises for coordination, stability, strength, and body control. Members also develop reflexes, concentration, decision-making, confidence, and composure under pressure, with sparring providing practical experience. KKS offers individual group-session entry as well as monthly or annual membership, with options including access to club equipment, interclub sparring, equipment servicing, and family discounts. The club supports both recreational and performance-focused development and organizes fencing events and competitions, including the Trofeum Smoka Wawelskiego and tournaments in foil and épée.
