## Description

Christiaan van der Klaauw Astronomical Watches is a Dutch watchmaking atelier devoted entirely to designing and producing exclusive, handmade astronomical timepieces. Founded in 1974, when Christiaan van der Klaauw presented his first clock with astronomical complications, the brand has built its identity around astronomy and the measurement of time. Its modern atelier is based in Naarden, the Netherlands, where watches are made in small quantities using carefully selected materials and close attention to detail. Each timepiece is individually numbered and can be regarded as a limited edition.

The collection includes astronomical masterpieces such as the CVDK Planetarium, Grand Planetarium Eccentric Manufacture, Real Moon Joure, Real Moon Tides, Real Moon 1980, Titan Perpetual and Venus. The brand also offers star-inspired watches, including the Orion, Hypernova, Ariadne and Lady Orion, as well as custom-made pieces and instruction manuals. The CVDK Planetarium features a small mechanical planetarium, while the Real Moon Joure presents a three-dimensional moon phase.
