# Klein Pikkewyn Swem - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `kleinpikkewynswem.co.za` ## Description Klein Pikkewyn Swem Akademie is a swimming school in Mossel Bay, South Africa, founded in 2017 by owner and instructor Sarah Pretorius. The school teaches babies from six months old, with a parent or caregiver in the water, as well as children learning to swim and develop their strokes. Its year-round programme is organised into four 10-week terms, with lessons available once or twice a week and fees payable per term or in monthly instalments. Instruction is led by qualified teachers Sarah Pretorius and Jo-Mari Smith, who have more than 16 and 11 years of teaching experience respectively. Their qualifications include Swim SA and Swim Dynamics baby, toddler, learn-to-swim and stroke instruction. Both hold current CPR and First Aid certificates. Lessons focus on swimming skills, water safety, children’s development and building confidence in the water. The school operates from a private indoor pool in Aalwyndal, Mossel Bay.
