## Description

The Koninklijk Nederlands Meteorologisch Instituut (KNMI) is the Dutch national meteorological institute, renowned for its comprehensive climate research and forecasting. With the impending release of the KNMI'23 climate scenarios on October 9, 2023, the institute aims to provide updated models that will succeed the previous KNMI'14 scenarios. These scenarios serve as critical tools for understanding potential future climate conditions in the Netherlands, detailing various climate indicators such as temperature increases of 1 to 2.3 °C by 2050 and projected changes in precipitation.

KNMI offers an array of products and services, including climate scenario reports, interactive graphs, and detailed maps that help visualize climate data. They conduct extensive research on climate change impacts and provide resources for understanding extreme weather events, allowing users to explore historical weather patterns and use sophisticated models for future predictions. With its commitment to climate expertise, KNMI supports governmental and public initiatives aiming to mitigate climate risks.
