## Description

Kaiapoi Model Aero Club Inc is a radio-control model aircraft club based at Eyreton, near Swannanoa, north of Christchurch in New Zealand’s South Island. The club welcomes members and visitors to experience its model-flying facilities, whether they already fly, are curious spectators, or are considering taking up the hobby. Its website includes information about learning to fly, club news, and a gallery of aircraft and flying activities.

Members gather at the field to fly a range of model aircraft, with regular flying sessions showcased in the club’s updates. The site lists the flying hours as daylight only, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and identifies the location as 192 No. 10 Road, Swannanoa, Canterbury. Kaiapoi Model Aero Club is a Model Flying New Zealand approved field. Membership renewals are managed through the club treasurer, and the club notes that current membership is important for maintaining insurance cover through Model Flying New Zealand. Visitors interested in radio-control aviation can contact the club president for further information.
