## Description

KNINE Service is a Portuguese dog-training school and association founded in 2012, bringing together schools, trainers, dog owners and people interested in canine welfare. Based in the Lisbon area, it aims to support a positive role for dogs in society by promoting their physical health and emotional stability. Its trainers work with dogs of all breeds and offer behavioural training to address challenges such as stress and aggression. Services include training at home or in residential care, preparation for dogs classified as potentially dangerous or dangerous under Portuguese regulations, and sports training in obedience, Mondioring and IGP.

KNINE also provides professional and owner education. Courses cover dog handling, trainer development, required training for owners of regulated dogs, and security-dog teams. Its social initiatives include Matching, which assesses and selects dogs using behavioural profiles, and Cão Cidadão, a certification programme for companion dogs. KNINE Service is a certified training provider recognised by DGERT and DGADR, and its courses include certification involving DGAV.
