## Description

KnoxVelo is Knoxville’s cycling club, welcoming riders who want to connect through group rides, racing, outdoor exploration, and community activities. Its membership brings together weekend cyclists, commuters, racers, trail enthusiasts, and people new to cycling, with opportunities suited to different experience levels. The club organizes weekly no-drop rides as well as advanced training rides, helping members enjoy Knoxville on two wheels and build their skills.

For competitive riders, KnoxVelo participates in road racing, criteriums, time trials, track events, gran fondos, and other races, including events for state titles. Gravel and mountain biking are also part of the club’s focus, with rides exploring trails and routes in East Tennessee. Beyond riding, members can take part in cookouts, clinics, post-ride gatherings, and volunteer events.

KnoxVelo promotes a friendly, inclusive cycling community and offers an annual membership for $30. Regular road rides meet Tuesdays at Cedar Bluff Cycles and Wednesdays at Planet Fitness in Farragut. The club also shares information about local rides and cycling events, and offers KnoxVelo-branded gear.
