## Description

KNVWS is the Dutch abbreviation for the Royal Netherlands Association for Weather and Astronomy. Established in 1901, KNVWS is dedicated to popularizing the fields of weather and astronomy. With dozens of affiliated associations and observatories across the country, KNVWS connects thousands of people with a shared passion for these subjects. They offer a wide range of products and services to promote engagement and learning. Interested in stargazing? Many public observatories organize observation nights, courses, and other activities. Looking to explore the sky during the day? KNVWS hosts the National Sun Observation Day annually. For those seeking more in-depth knowledge, they publish the Zenit magazine and the Star Guide, providing comprehensive information about celestial phenomena throughout the year. KNVWS aims to make weather and astronomy accessible to everyone, regardless of age or location.
