## Description

Kogire-kai is a Kyoto-based auction house specializing in antiques and fine art. Located on Sakai-machi Street in Nakagyo Ward, the organization aims to make traditional works of art accessible to collectors and to help preserve them for future generations. It offers buyers opportunities to bid on carefully selected pieces and provides owners with a way to consign works to new, appreciative collectors.

Its auctions feature a broad range of Japanese and other fine art and antiques, including paintings, screens, textiles, swords, and samurai arms and armor. Featured works may include pieces by recognized artists, with catalog entries providing details such as dimensions, attribution, and minimum bid prices. Kogire-kai publishes auction catalogs and provides information about bidding, consigning, schedules, and featured lots. It also holds preview events in Kyoto and Tokyo, with some venues requiring reservations.

The company shares auction announcements, results, and articles for collectors and dealers. Based in Kyoto, Kogire-kai serves both individuals and trade professionals interested in buying or selling antiques through its auctions.
