## Description

Karnival of the Arts (KOTA) is an artist-led festival dedicated to celebrating creativity, supporting independent and emerging artists, and building community. Its events bring together live music, visual art, and movement-based performance in immersive, community-driven settings. KOTA aims to connect creators across disciplines, help them reach new audiences, and recognize their contribution to cultural life. The festival also emphasizes the creative process as a living experience, creating artist-first spaces for expression, belonging, collaboration, and artistic growth.

KOTA presents events in Southern California and Pennsylvania. The 2026 West gathering is scheduled for April 30 to May 3 in Jacumba, California, while the East gathering is scheduled for September 3 to 7 in Kempton, Pennsylvania. Visitors can explore schedules and programs, purchase tickets, and find information about participating or performing. The organization also offers opportunities for sponsors and shares updates through its newsletter. Through these events and ways to get involved, Karnival of the Arts connects artists and audiences around creative work and shared experiences.
