## Description

Koloma is a clean-energy company focused on discovering and producing naturally occurring hydrogen from beneath the Earth’s surface. The company describes natural hydrogen as a low-carbon energy source formed underground when groundwater reacts with iron-rich rock in a process called serpentinization. Koloma aims to identify, access, and produce this resource using its technology, with the goal of making natural hydrogen a clean, cost-effective source of energy for future use.

Its work spans natural hydrogen research, laboratory exploration, field exploration and operations, and safety and environmental considerations. Koloma’s website offers educational resources explaining the science of natural hydrogen, how it differs from manufactured hydrogen, and its potential role in the future energy landscape. The company also shares updates on its technical progress, partnerships, leadership, and international activities, including exploration operations in the Philippines and expansion into Australia. Koloma presents itself as a team of innovators working to unlock an abundant subsurface energy resource and support sustainable energy solutions.
