## Description

The Committee Against Bird Slaughter (CABS) is a dedicated organization working across Europe to protect bird populations from illegal hunting and trapping. With a multifaceted approach, CABS engages in grassroots actions, legal advocacy, detailed research, and public awareness campaigns to mitigate the impact of wildlife crime where government efforts fall short. Their services include organizing bird protection camps, monitoring migration routes, collecting evidence of illegal activities, and collaborating with local conservation groups. CABS also conducts targeted research on the legal frameworks governing bird protection, pressing for stricter regulations under the EU's Bird Protection Directive. They educate the public about various bird species under threat and the methods used in poaching, as well as spearheading lobbying efforts to drive legislative change. With numerous field missions, they have successfully apprehended poachers and confiscated illegal trapping equipment, thereby making a significant impact on bird conservation throughout Europe. Join CABS to make a difference in the fight against avian crime and support the preservation of our natural heritage.
