Our story began with a focus on developing rotary motors and actuators for the electric aircraft market. However, after a Swiss-based manufacturer challenged us to find an energy-efficient alternative to traditional pneumatic actuators, we shifted our mission. The result was a game-changing direct-drive electric actuator that can be retrofitted onto existing machinery, significantly increasing machine runtime while reducing operating costs. Recognizing the challenges faced by machine builders and manufacturers, we expanded our electric composite-based technology to various industries, including Food Products, Wood Processing, Automotive, Textiles, Semiconductors & Electronics, and more. Led by our CEO, Salvatore De Benedictis, and CTO, Marcel Jufer, both experts in their fields, KOMP-ACT is committed to raising the bar in the manufacturing and robotics industry.
