## Description

Koopkorenfestival Enkhuizen is a choir music festival that brings the historic city centre of Enkhuizen to life with performances by choirs from across the Netherlands. Organised by Stichting Koopkorenfestival, the event offers singers and visitors a welcoming day centred on music, discovery and shared enjoyment. Rather than a competition, the festival celebrates the variety of participating choirs, each presenting its own sound, style and energy.

Performances take place at distinctive locations throughout the city, including outdoor spots among shoppers, Sow to Grow, and the Westerkerk and Zuiderkerk. Visitors can explore Enkhuizen on foot while enjoying a varied programme of choral music. The festival is held in collaboration with local city-centre businesses, helping create a lively atmosphere for the community and visitors alike.

The website shares information about the festival, participating choirs, photographs and contact details. An image gallery offers a look back at the 2026 event, with photographs by Fotoclub Enkhuizen De Streek. The next edition is scheduled for Saturday, 2 October 2027.
