## Description

DMKG, or the Deutsche Migräne- und Kopfschmerzgesellschaft, is a leading organization dedicated to improving the understanding and treatment of migraines and headaches. Through their innovative Kopfschmerzregister (Headache Registry), DMKG aims to enhance the digital tracking of headache occurrences by participants, ultimately collecting pseudonymized data for advanced headache research. The initiative serves both healthcare providers and patients, offering a streamlined approach to documenting headaches and facilitating more informed medical consultations.

Patients can engage with the Kopfschmerzregister either through healthcare practice invitations or independently via the DMKG app, which features a comprehensive headache calendar. This digital tool allows users to record their headache patterns and share crucial information with their healthcare providers ahead of appointments. Additionally, DMKG offers extensive support through publications, newsletters, and a collaborative initiative called “Attacke! Gemeinsam gegen Kopfschmerzen”, fostering a community focus on combating headache disorders. By offering essential resources and a platform for scientific evaluation, DMKG is at the forefront of headache management and research.
