Kopit Lodge is a brand that was founded by veterans of the campaign to stop fracking in Kent County, part of the sixth district of Mi’kma’ki: Signigtog. These veterans are the same individuals who established several Unity Camps during the protests and also created the Mother Earth Lodge. Kopit Lodge aims to protect the water and the environment through various initiatives and actions. They organize non-violent resistance training sessions and host events like the Unity Gathering.

The brand is dedicated to reclaiming and stewarding the land and has established a strong connection to the Indigenous community through collaboration and support. Kopit Lodge also operates a fundraising wing called IMW, which raises funds to retain legal representation and support their case to protect the land and water. Volunteers are encouraged to join them in spreading awareness and fundraising efforts. By speaking out against environmental destruction and working through the courts, Kopit Lodge is determined to protect the water and create a sustainable future for generations to come.
