## Description

The Premature Infant Rescue and Pediatric Intensive Care Foundation is a Hungarian nonprofit dedicated to saving premature infants and supporting critically ill newborns and children who need intensive care. Based in Zalaegerszeg, the foundation has carried out this work for 13 years with support from the community. Its premature-infant rescue team operates around the clock, every day of the year, across three counties, transporting vulnerable babies and helping them receive urgent care.

Alongside emergency rescue, the foundation works to support the treatment and recovery of premature and seriously ill children. Its website provides information on topics including breastfeeding support and diabetes, and shares educational resources for families and the wider community. The foundation also raises funds through donations, personal income tax contributions and events such as charity gatherings, swimming challenges and the Premature Infant Run. Supporters can contribute directly or take part in its activities. Through its work, the organization aims to give the smallest and most vulnerable patients a better chance of recovery and to sustain essential care for children in need.
