## Description

Korpilahden Ratsastajat (KoRa) is an equestrian club serving riders in Korpilahti and neighboring communities across the Jyväskylä region and Jämsänjokilaakso. Founded in 1974 and registered in 1976, the association is a member of the Finnish Equestrian Federation and has around 300 members. Its activities bring together riders through competitions, training opportunities, clubs, courses, trips, and other horse-related events.

The club organizes annual dressage, show jumping, and eventing competitions at local, regional, and national levels. Its main facilities include the Suojakallio riding arena, with a 60-by-100-metre sand surface, year-round practice access, competition equipment, and training jumps available for members. KoRa does not have a single home stable; instead, it works with several local riding centers and uses their indoor arenas and outdoor facilities.

Members can find club news and competition information online, join the association, and order branded clothing through its partner store. KoRa also shares updates through social media and member communications, and welcomes new riders into its community.
