## Description

Korttien Tarinat is a Finnish postcard festival organized by Korttien tarinat osuuskunta. Billed as Finland’s largest postcard event, it brings together illustrators, artists, publishers, traders, associations and collectors to celebrate postcards and the stories they carry. Visitors can browse thousands of new and vintage cards, discover independent creators and explore collecting-related items. The festival also includes Oval Point, a collecting event featuring philately, postcards, numismatics and other collectibles.

Alongside its marketplace, Korttien Tarinat offers a full day of talks and activities for all ages. The programme has included presentations on nature photography and the history of Lahti postcards, as well as Postcrossing bingo. Free activities include a hands-on postcard-customizing workshop, a postcard exchange point and small exhibitions. Visitors can also obtain festival stamps and special postmarks, including designs created for the event and a Lahti-themed stamp from the local stamp club. The annual festival takes place in Lahti, with visitor information, exhibitor registration and event updates provided through its website and social media.
