## Description

The Tokyo Association of Dealers in Old Books is a prominent collective representing approximately 600 antiquarian bookstores across Tokyo. With a mission to promote the appreciation and trade of old books, this organization provides a comprehensive platform for both sellers and buyers through its extensive online catalog, featuring over 6 million listings from participating bookstores nationwide.

Events play a significant role in their offerings, including exhibitions such as the "Miki Hakujo Exhibition" and the "History of Mahjong Manga," which celebrate literary heritage and showcase the evolution of various genres. The association actively engages with the community by organizing workshops like "Become an Antiquarian Bookseller," helping enthusiasts delve into the art of antiquarian book trading. Their commitment to preserving and disseminating Japan’s literary culture reflects in their ongoing initiatives and support for independent bookstores. With access to rare and out-of-print publications, this cooperative fosters a vibrant marketplace for antiquarian literature in Tokyo.
