## Description

Klub orientačních sportů Krnov (KOS Krnov) is a sports club based in Krnov, Czech Republic, dedicated to orienteering and community sport. The club supports young athletes through training, participation in competitions, specialist camps, and access to sports equipment, helping children take part in activities regardless of family costs. It also organizes public sporting events that bring runners, cyclists, families, and local residents together.

Its best-known event is Hrouzovka, a traditional Krnov cross-country race featuring a 15-kilometre course on surrounding roads and forest or field tracks. The event includes a cycling category on the same route and short races for very young children. KOS Krnov also organizes Cvilínské schody and Den orientace v přírodě, introducing participants to outdoor activity and navigation. Through its events and youth programs, the club contributes to local sport and encourages active recreation. Its work is supported by the City of Krnov, regional and national sports funding, sponsors, and community partners.
