## Description

The Herb Kosten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, established in 2003 in Memphis, TN, is dedicated to improving community support and awareness for pancreatic cancer. Founded in memory of Herb Kosten, the organization has raised over $2.5 million to fund critical research and provide essential resources for those affected by this aggressive disease. The foundation organizes events like the annual Kick It 5K marathon, a major fundraising effort, and offers additional activities such as the Tribute at Twilight and Kick It Pickleball Tournament.

Central to their mission is the Monthly Pancreatic Support Group, which meets both in-person and virtually, fostering communication and support among survivors and patients. The foundation also invests in training future pancreatic surgeons and hosts lectures featuring leading experts in the field. By engaging the community and funding innovative research, the Herb Kosten Foundation plays a crucial role in the fight against pancreatic cancer, striving to improve survivorship and outcomes for all those affected.
