## Description

Kraamzorg Lotjes Dotjes is an independent maternity care service based in Breda, serving families in Breda and the surrounding area within approximately 25 kilometres. Led by Lotje, the service provides personal, attentive support tailored to each family’s wishes and needs during pregnancy, birth and the first days at home with a newborn. Because every family is different, care is adapted to individual circumstances rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

Families can arrange an introductory meeting in advance, creating space to ask questions during pregnancy and build a familiar, trusting relationship before the maternity week begins. Lotje also offers guidance with feeding, supporting parents who choose breastfeeding as well as those who prefer bottle-feeding. When a baby is born in hospital, she is ready to support the family after they return home. For a home birth, she can be present to assist the family and midwife. The aim is to provide a safe, welcoming environment and practical, compassionate care as parents adjust to life with their new baby.
