## Description

Erfgoed Raamsdonk is a local heritage project managed by Genealogie Raamsdonk, dedicated to preserving and sharing newspaper clippings and historical images related to Raamsdonk. Its online collection is organised into albums covering periods from the 1830s to the present, allowing visitors to explore material by decade and topic. The archive includes sections on local fires and carnival, alongside tags for subjects such as the municipal council, civil records, New Year’s greetings, local sports clubs, community events, businesses and organisations. Visitors can browse recent, popular and highly rated photos, view albums, search by tag, and consult a calendar that places collection items in date order. The site also invites the public to contribute: Genealogie Raamsdonk scans newspaper articles about Raamsdonk to help expand the collection. This makes the project both a digital archive and a community resource for people interested in the area’s history and local life. Those wishing to submit relevant newspaper clippings can contact the organisation by email.
