## Description

Kreislaufwirtschaft.at, presented as KLW, is an Austrian platform dedicated to explaining and advancing the circular economy. It promotes a systemic approach grounded in the principles that waste can become a resource, diversity strengthens resilience, renewable sources should underpin economic activity, and solutions require systems thinking. The platform brings together practical knowledge, projects, initiatives and opportunities for people and organisations seeking to put circular practices into action.

Its interactive TEILEN-RETTEN-NUTZEN map helps make existing projects, reusable resources, surplus food and underused spaces visible, while enabling users to share offers and discoveries. Visitors can explore implementation projects by topic, find local initiatives and events, and submit new content. Coverage ranges from agriculture, buildings and food supply to circular design, production, research and community-led solutions.

Kreislaufwirtschaft.at also provides an overview of funding opportunities for circular economy projects and measures, compiled to support Austria’s national circular economy strategy. Its guidance addresses networking, resource flows, infrastructure, circular design, regulatory barriers, financing and project development, helping users identify practical next steps and connect with relevant actors.
