## Description

Krewe of Centurions is a Mardi Gras social club based in the Greater New Orleans area. Founded in 1979 by a partnership of businessmen from Harahan and River Ridge, the organization began parading in those communities before moving to its current route in Metairie. Its longstanding parade tradition remains central to the krewe, alongside a year-round program of member activities. Today, the group includes more than 300 women and men and aims to offer a fun, family-friendly experience for its members and the wider community.

Throughout the year, members can take part in events such as crawfish boils, baseball outings, and tailgates, as well as the krewe’s Mardi Gras parade. The organization supports participation through membership enrollment and dues, and offers event tickets, parade throws, and Krewe gear through its online shop. Its website also provides information about the royal court, captains and officers, past royalty, and grand marshals, while visitors can register for email updates about news and events.
