## Description

The Krewe of Kolosse is a men’s Mardi Gras organization based in Dothan, Alabama, bringing Mardi Gras celebrations to Southeast Alabama and the Wiregrass region. It began in February 2014, when a small group of friends sought to establish a parade in Dothan. After a parade permit was granted, the first event took place just nine days later, featuring five floats and two antique cars. Its strong attendance prompted four organizers to form a krewe inspired by Mardi Gras traditions in Mobile and New Orleans.

Today, the organization presents a Mardi Gras parade and related festivities, and showcases themed floats, including Bon Temps, Boogie Knights, and Demon Sea Men. Its website provides parade information, VIP ticket details, event updates, and galleries of photos and videos from past parades. The Krewe also offers ways for people to participate through float and vendor registration, and invites inquiries from those interested in getting involved.
