## Description

The Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements (KRIHS) is a national research institute focused on land, cities, housing, infrastructure, and balanced regional development. It aims to contribute to a more livable and well-planned country through research, policy analysis, and international cooperation. Its work spans national and regional planning, urban development, land and housing, construction, future spatial systems, and infrastructure. KRIHS shares its research through reports, periodicals, policy briefs, working papers, books, English-language publications, and materials from seminars and public hearings. The institute also provides interactive reports, maps, statistical tools, and visual content that help people explore regional change, population patterns, housing, mobility, and local services. Its public resources include open data, territorial education materials, videos, workbooks, and an online glossary. KRIHS supports policy exchange through international research partnerships, policy advice, and global development capacity-building programs. Researchers and members of the public can also submit research ideas, participate in competitions, access information, and follow news, events, and employment opportunities through its website.
