## Description

Kruid & Kunst offers a year-long education combining herbal knowledge, nature-based learning, and watercolor art. Designed for beginners as well as those with existing experience, the program explores one herb each month, including plants found in the Dutch countryside. Lessons cover identification, where and when to find herbs, responsible harvesting, historical background, plant constituents, traditional uses, safety considerations, and creative or spiritual approaches. Participants also learn to prepare herbal recipes and paint plants, with the aim of creating a personal illustrated herb book.

The course blends online learning with monthly postal herb packages, so students can explore each featured plant alongside the lessons. Enrollment includes access to an online community for questions, sharing work, and connecting with fellow participants, plus monthly live sessions with support from the course team. Students receive an watercolor starter set and one year of access to a beginner watercolor course. No prior herb or painting knowledge is required, and participants may join at any time.
