## Description

It turns GPS tracks and other session data into visual debriefs, helping users identify what happened on the water and where performance can improve. After a track is uploaded, kTool automatically detects and times maneuvers such as tacks, gybes and roundings, organizes straight-line sections, estimates wind direction from the GPS track, and calculates metrics including speed, angle and velocity made good (VMG). No wind instrument or proprietary tracking device is required.

Users can compare maneuvers, sailing modes, legs, boats and time ranges, and review onboard, drone or coach-boat video synchronized with the data. The platform also offers a beta Sail Shape Analyzer for measuring sail depth, draft position and twist from photos. Designed for dinghies, foilers, skiffs and keelboats, kTool supports GPS and GPX tracks, with compatible instrument, wind, sensor and video files available as additions. It runs in a web browser, and new users can analyze three of their own sessions and explore a demo for free.
