## Description

Kris Kuksi is an American fine artist and sculptor known for elaborate assemblage works that combine miniature figures, architectural forms, and found or manufactured objects. His sculptures bring together materials such as plastic toy soldiers, engine components, spires, and assorted debris, arranging them into densely detailed scenes with a dramatic, postindustrial Rococo character. The works explore tensions involving politics, spirituality, and material culture, often presenting complex, shrine-like landscapes beneath imposing figures or architectural structures.

Kuksi’s website showcases a broad body of work, with sculpture organized by year from 2004 through 2023, alongside paintings, drawings, and editions. Visitors can also find his CV and exhibition history, interviews, lectures, autobiographical publications, a biography, and contact information. The site serves as a portfolio and information resource for the artist’s practice, presenting his distinctive approach to fine art and assemblage sculpture. Through intricate compositions and unexpected combinations of objects, Kuksi creates visually immersive works that invite close attention to their details and themes.
