## Description

The Cultural Endowment of Estonia is a public organisation dedicated to supporting Estonian culture through grants, scholarships and awards. It distributes funding across a broad range of fields, including architecture, audiovisual arts, music, sports, literature, visual and applied arts, dramatic arts and folk culture. Support is allocated through applications and, where appropriate, on the endowments’ own initiative. The organisation provides guidance on application requirements, grant conditions, reporting, payment procedures and the recovery of grants, with online services available through its e-Kulka system.

Its programmes include Traducta, which supports literary translation, and the Baltic Culture Fund, which funds international cultural projects involving partners from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The Endowment also recognises achievement through annual awards and publishes information about grants, supported projects, budgets and annual reports. Applicants can access forms, guidelines and committee contacts, while the public can review submitted applications and request information. By administering cultural funding and connecting creators with resources, the Cultural Endowment helps sustain and develop creative work across Estonia’s cultural landscape.
