## Description

KulTourAgenten e.V. is a nonprofit association founded in Kassel, Germany, dedicated to promoting research, art and culture, heritage protection, education, and local history. Through events and publications, the organization brings the city’s cultural, architectural, and social history to a wider audience, highlighting significant places, events, and people whose stories have been overlooked or forgotten.

Its program includes guided city walks, readings, workshops, lectures, excursions, and site visits. The walks are presented as journeys through time and place, connecting historical stories with the locations where they unfolded. KulTourAgenten also seeks out forgotten sites and helps restore their presence in the city’s shared memory.

Research is central to its work. The association investigates local history through archival materials and conversations with eyewitnesses, then documents findings in themed publications that remain accessible beyond its events. Based in Kassel, KulTourAgenten welcomes support through donations and membership, helping sustain its public cultural and educational activities.
