## Description

Kulturblos’n Mariakirchen e.V. is a community-focused cultural association serving Mariakirchen and the surrounding area. Its broad programme brings residents together through arts, recreation, family activities, and local traditions. Members take part in theatre productions and visits, line dancing, volleyball, outdoor events, cycling outings, and Schafkopf card-game activities, including beginner courses. The association also runs Rappelkiste, an ongoing parent-and-child group, and offers holiday programmes for children and families.

Throughout the year, Kulturblos’n helps organise community events such as the St. Martin’s procession, a village disco and flea market, a May tree celebration, a medieval festival, and a Christmas crib display. Its cultural highlights have included musical theatre, open-air performances, concerts, readings, and the Mariakirchner carnival newspaper. The association also arranges special activities such as family weekends, hikes, and tastings, and provides information about room bookings for eligible local groups. With opportunities to participate, volunteer, and become a member, Kulturblos’n supports local culture and shared community life through a varied calendar of events and activities.
