## Description

Kunst in de Stal Festival is a community arts and culture event held in the Merenwijk area of Leiden, around Kinderboerderij Merenwijk and Merenwijkpark. The festival brings together art, nature, farm life and local visitors for a relaxed day out for all ages. Its 2017 programme took place on Sunday, 10 September, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission was free.

Visitors could browse the Kunst & Stal market, featuring handmade gifts and organic food, and enjoy live performances at Muziek in de Wei. The mobile theatre Geurend Hooi offered entertainment for children and adults, while drop-in workshops introduced participants to different art forms, with nature and creativity as central themes. The farm itself was also part of the experience. Guests could simply take in the atmosphere or stop for a drink or ice cream at the tea house terrace.

The festival’s website also provided programme details, news, photographs and contact information. It described the event as an annual gathering held on the second Sunday in September.
